Donald Trump supporter hit with milkshake during angry protests in London

A Donald Trump supporter has had a milkshake thrown at him during mass protest against the US President’s visit.

Crowds surrounding the man carrying anti-racism placards can be heard chanting “Nazi scum” at him before someone lobs the milky drink at his face.

Milkshakes have become the political protest missile of choice in the UK in recent months in a phenomenon that has attracted worldwide intrigue.

Far-right provocateur Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, who goes by the name Tommy Robinson, was hit with milkshakes twice in two days.

Fellow controversial far-right figure and failed European elections candidate Carl Benjamin was also pelted with a milkshake during his campaign.

Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage was hit by a milkshake in Newcastle.

Concerns about milkshake tossing even led police to ask a McDonald’s near an Edinburgh venue where Mr Farage was planning to speak to not sell the creamy drink ahead of the Brexiteer’s rally.

In LBC footage of the latest incident, the pro-Trump demonstrator can be seen wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.

After he is pelted with the milkshake he lashes out at the protesters.

Some in the crowd then begin to scuffle with the man as a lone policewoman attempts to contain the crowd.

One man tries to hold the crowd back, shouting: “it’s not worth it.”

Another man can he heard chiming in: “You’re behaving as badly as he is.”

Protesters are swarming through central London today in rallies raging against the US president’s state visit to Britain.

Another man reportedly had his ‘Make America Great Again’ cap stolen in the altercation.

Trump arrived in London with First Lady Melania yesterday, and has since dined with the Queen and senior royals, and met with PM Theresa May at Downing Street earlier today.

The planned demonstrations came the day after Trump said he had seen no sign of any protesters since touching down in London, calling it “fake news” in a tweet.

By this morning, a giant, orange inflatable Trump baby blimp was flying over Parliament as London protestors took their march against the presence of the US commander-in-chief to the streets.
